Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day June 5
Amesbury’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 5 from 9AM to 12PM. Household Hazardous Waste will be collected at the Water Street Parking Garage. The event is open to all.

Items considered hazardous household waste include light bulbs, car fluids such as gasoline and oil, roofing tar and hazardous chemicals such as used in photo developing, floor polishes, oven cleaner, rug and upholstery cleaner and paint strippers and thinners.

Cost to dispose of hazardous household water is $28.00 for less than 10 gallons or pounds (approximately a half a car load) and $45.00 for 10 to 25 gallons or pounds of waste (approximately a full car load).
