Absentee Ballots Now Available for September 4th Primary Election

Any registered Amesbury voter who will be unable to vote at the polls on Election Day due to: (1) absence from town during normal polling hours; or (2) physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or (3) religious belief can apply for an absentee ballot to be mailed or to vote in person at the City Clerk’s Office.

Requests for an absentee ballot must be received no later than 5pm on Friday, August 31. Applications may be submitted in person, by mail, fax, or by e-mail. Please see below for the application. If you are an unenrolled (independent) voter, please be sure to indicate which party’s ballot you would like to receive. The absentee ballot must be returned to the City Clerk's Office by close of the polls on Election Day.
