Leaders in Training Program (LIT)

LIT is a challenging and rewarding experience. Your days as an LIT will be spent with a wide array of activities. It is important to understand that being an LIT is a responsibility. Be sure that you are willing and prepared to meet the challenges presented by this position. LIT’s should be highly motivated and be willing to venture outside the box, creativity will only make the leadership experience better for the applicant. T-shirt included.

LIT Duties include:

  • Participate in a 2hr. teambuilding and Leadership training
  • Help in the set up and clean up each day Assisting in field games
  • Help manage campers 
  • Being a great role model for the campers

LIT Benefits include:

LIT’s will be assigned to either the Parks Program or the Tadpole program listed below:

  • Parks Program- Consisting of games, arts & crafts, sports, theme days, nature walks, team building activities, talent shows, and much more. Every Wednesday is water play day, Thursdays field trip day and the week wraps up with a guest entertainer on Fridays.
  • Tadpole Program- Immerses yourself in our youngest campers that range from 3-5 year old. The program will consist of outdoor arts and crafts, splash pad fun, story time, sports, playground games, guest entertainers, skill building, walking field trips, singing, lunchtime and more!

There is a mandatory CIT and LIT training the week of June 23rd.
