Report an issue in Amesbury using SeeClickFix - an easy website or mobile application that will allow you to report and track an issue (pothole, snow removal, graffiti, etc). If you don't have a computer or mobile device, you can still call Public Works at 978-388-8116.

Please note that SeeClickFix is not monitored 24 hours a day. If you require immediate assistance, between 7 am and 3 pm, please call the office at 978-388-8116. If you have a public works emergency after hours, please call the Amesbury Police Department at 978-388-1212.

Create an account so you can report and track an issue! You'll receive notifications when the issue is acknowledged and completed, or we'll tell you why there may be a delay in resolving the problem. You can add photos to the issue when you submit online/through the app to help show the issue you are talking about! You'll also be able to see all issues that have been reported across Amesbury.

Issues You Should Not Report to SeeClickFix

Issues you should not report to SeeClickFix include:

  • Missed trash / recycling pickup - Please contact G. Mello at 978-352-8581 to report a missed pick-up.
  • Deceased or diseased animal - Please contact the Animal Control Officer by calling the Amesbury Police Department at 978-388-1212. If the deceased animal is on the Interstate, or any exit or on ramp to the Interstate, please call the Department of Transportation (DOT) at 857-368-3500 or visit the DOT website.
  • Snow and Ice issues- Missed plowing or icy road issues should be reported to DPW during regular business hours (Mon-Fri, 7am to 3pm)  at 978-388-8116. For non-business hours, please call the Police non-emergency number at 978-388-1217.
  • Storm related residential sidewalk issues- To report residential sidewalk issues related to the storm after 24 hours of storm ending, email:clearsidewalks@amesburyma.gov

    Please note that residents have 24hrs after a storms conclusion to clear and treat sidewalks. This email is not monitored 24hrs and will be addressed during regular business hours.
